I recommend having (1) tip insert per every (1) tip.

We have engineered our tip inserts to more easily be removed from the head, using a wrench, in a counter-clockwise motion. The insert’s threads mating with the heads are larger and easier to remove the the head while the insert’s thread mated to the tip are more fine.
